BTX Technologies wants to make the process of setting up digital signage a whole lot easier. The company just announced the MediaMessenger Digital Signage Kit. This one box provides everything you’ll need to set up a digital signage system.

First, you’re going to need to pick your package. BTX is offering three versions of MediaMessenger: Gold, Silver and Bronze. That said, the turnkey system includes Net Display Systems’ (NDS) PADS4 digital signage viewer software, a BTX MediaMessenger Media Player, a commercial-grade Philips flat-panel display, a flat-panel wall mount, and HDMI cables.

Powered by PADS4 digital signage software, the MediaMessenger Digital Signage Kit allows users to integrate real-time data from sources including Microsoft Exchange, Microsoft Dynamics, SAP, content management systems, room reservation systems, queue management, and social media. It even allows for interactivity, via touchscreens, RFID, barcodes, QR codes, and face recognition.

Content is driven to the display by the BTX MediaMessenger Media Player, which works with PowerPoint, Flash, 1080p video, scrolling text, and more.

The Gold, Silver, and Bronze Suites are available with 32-, 42- and 55-inch displays, with the Silver and Gold versions adding in the option for a 42-inch touchscreen.

Bronze supports basic content, such text and images. The Silver Suite bumps things up with support for video and sound, web, interactivity, Flash, and more. The cream of the crop is the Gold Suite, with support for presentation-in-presentation, television, charts, tables, PDFs, and RS-232. Both the Silver and Gold Suites include one hour of integrator training, with another two hours of tech support included in the Gold package.

“Our cost-effective MediaMessenger Digital Signage Kit includes everything needed to get a digital signage system up and running in a matter of hours instead of days,” said Greg Schwartz, president of BTX. “Once set up, the PADS4 software saves network operators the time and expense of duplicating content by integrating with existing databases and more, while our MediaMessenger Media Player delivers exceptional performance for media-intensive content. With three different versions to choose from, we offer the right solution for any installation.”

If you have questions or want to find out more about the MediaMessenger Digital Signage Kit and PADS4 software, BTX is planning a webinar for Wednesday, July 19 at 11:00 a.m. (EST). To register, go to the event’s website.
