LifeSize is about to get a little bigger. The company, which is a division of Logitech, just announced the Unity Series, a new line of HD video conferencing solutions.

Unity is launching with two products, the LifeSize Unity 50 and the LifeSize Unity 500. Both boast easy setup and use, allowing companies of all sizes to reap the benefits of high-def telepresence without a huge financial investment.

Because the LifeSize Unity Series is an integrated solution, it takes just minutes to assemble. It also promises to be easy to deploy or re-deploy anywhere.

LifeSize Unity 50 is a True HD 720p/30 tabletop or wall-mounted solution. Powered by LifeSize Passport, it has a 24-inch LED display and requires just two cables for a quick plug-and-play setup.

The LifeSize Unity 500 bulks up the image to 1080p/30 on a 40-inch LED. Using LifeSize Express 220, the all-in-one solution requires no tools and boasts a setup that’s less than 10 minutes.

“Let’s face it, businesses need to speed decision making and improve productivity across the entire organization. By creating a series of products optimized to provide a telepresence-class experience, yet simple to deploy and use, we are making HD video conferencing easier than ever to bring to every home office, executive office or conference room,” said Michael Helmbrecht, VP and GM of video solutions at LifeSize. “For companies who need to conserve their IT resources or have traditionally thought video conferencing was too complex or expensive to deploy, the wait is over.”

Both the LifeSize Unity 50 and LifeSize Unity 500 are available now priced at $3,999 and $19,999, respectively. Additional LifeSize products should be announced in the coming year.
