There’s never an outlet when you need one—especially in a conference or meeting room. Instead of stretching an extension cord, Legrand/Wiremold is providing an easier way to get power anywhere, via Wiremold Work Surface Modular Power Kits.
According to the company, Wiremold Work Surface Modular Power Kits can provide access to power, no matter what the room layout may be.
Sized to outfit 5- or 6-foot tables with plug-and-play power, each kit has table boxes, power whips, clamps and cable covers. The tabletop portals have power outlets and openings for RJ-45 network connections.
The backbone of the entire operation is the UL-listed, 4-wire, 2-circuit non-sequential wiring system. In other words, users won’t need special color coding or numerical sequencing of tables. Arrange them however you need them by unplugging the whip, moving tables and connecting them again.
Two circuits can provide the capacity to feed up to 20 portals from one feed source.
Also, you won’t have to worry about clutter. Wiremold Work Surface Modular Power Kits connect to many popular cable management systems, including Wiremold 2400 Series raceway, OFR Series Overfloor Raceway, WallSource Multiservice boxes or existing wall outlets.
Legrand/Wiremold also says that a hardwired starter kit is available for municipalities where code requires it.
